We've successfully gained new skills to add to our portfolio. From GDPR, Cookie Consent and Google Analytics V4 (GA-4) to AI services, marketing and new cross-platform development tools. We have become part of the Google Developer initiative, embraced .NET MAUI and Atlas database hosting and are being very active on Upwork, fiverr and Guru.
Although we have always done our best to remain flexible in the software development industry, especially when it comes to web development, there is no denying it is a fast moving environment and if you don't pay attention you can quickly get left behind. This was where we found ourselves not so long ago!
Over a period of only a few months complacency set in, and our enthusiasm for fresh projects had waned to the point where we were happy to rest on our laurels!
Thankfully fresh thinking and exposure to new requirements snapped the team out of its rut. We are invigorated, and actively developing some exciting ideas for the future!
New projects are in the pipeline, from backend web services and cross-platform apps to e-publishing and 3D printing, there are so many opportunities we can take advantage of, all that is needed is enthusiasm and a positive outlook for the future.
Diversity was the name of the game last year. While we took stock of our position in the software development industry we also gave consideration to pursuing new outlets for our creative skills.
