It probably comes as no surprise that the last 12 months have been tough for everyone and with the upheavels going on in the world, not least of which is the growing global recession, we have decided to re-evaluate our business, our strategy and our hopes for the future.
Frankly the applications development market has become saturated with many new people coming in hoping to support themselves while they try to establish viable home businesses, this is a double-edged sword for long-standing companies such as ourselves, e-commerce continues to grow and alongside it the need for experienced developers, marketers and SEO specialists, we field many enquiries every day from potential clients, but with the growth many newcomers have appeared to perform the work that is needed, often very cheaply, which makes for a tough time for those of us with long-standing commitments to staff and training.
Like so many of our peers, ComDotty is having to tighten its belt, look for new opportunities and place itself into new markets, we will still be the web development specialists we have always been but we will also be looking for new directions in the coming months. More to come on that soon.

The less said about the last year the better really, many of our smaller clients were lost in the global upheaval caused by the COVID pandemic, while here at ComDotty we really felt the impact and were forced to relocate away from our home in the Philippines back to the UK.
Things are finally recovering and we are slowly getting back on our feet after returning to the Philippines, a process not without its own problems.
